Ski and Boarding season may be winding down but that does not mean you can't still have fun in the mountains. Bikeing, hiking, rafting, boating, fishing and yes even a few ski resorts are still open.

You can hike a 14'er early in the morning and then head up to A-Basin and hang out at the beach chillin with a couple of buddies or catch a couple of late day runs before heading down the hill. The opportunities are endless!!!!

RentSkis.com is interested in how we performed during the 08/09 ski season, so let us know how we did or share some of your experiences with us!

Great Snow and Blue Skies!

It's coming down to the last few weeks of skiing at most resorts. Last time to strap on the boots, click into the skis and latch on to the poles. Spring is a great time to get up the mountain with friends, family or co-workers. Beautiful blue skies and sparse crowds are waiting for you. So don't hesitate, get up to the mountains, this season while you still can!!!!

In Colorado, March and April offer sunshine and lots of snow, along with plenty of special events on the slope. End-of-season events include Springalicious at Steamboat, April 11-12, Sunsation at Copper, April 11-12 and 18-19, and an Easter egg hunt at Arapahoe Basin, April 12.

The Bud Light Spring Jam at Aspen/Snowmass, the last two weekends of March, made it onto Ski.com's list of top five spring ski destinations. The other destinations on Ski.com's top five list are Breckenridge, Colo.'s Spring Massive festival, April 1-19; Spring Gruv, March 27-April 1, in Park City, Utah, at The Canyons Resort; Spring Back to Vail, in Colorado, April 13-19, which includes the World Pond Skimming Championships, and Whistler Blackcomb, British Columbia's TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival, April 17-26.

Rent Skis is ready for a great Spring Break too! We want to make sure that you have the best ski or riding experience so drop us a line and tell us how we are doing!

Spring is in the Air!!

We love this time of year. It is cold enough to get 4 weeks of great skiing and snowboarding in, but it is starting to warm up to the point where you don't have to dress up like an eskimo.

It is sad that ski and riding season is almost over because it feels like it has just begun. It has been a great year all the same, whether you were skiing or boarding in Vail or Breckenridge. We consider the end of ski season to be a little like the end football season. It is almost depressing that we have to wait another 6 months until A-Basin and Loveland open up in October/November.

But we still have another great 6 weeks to go before all the major resorts close and we will take full advantage of what Mother Nature has to give us!

Like you, Rent Skis is ready for a great Spring Break. We want to make sure that you have the best ski or riding experience so drop us a line and tell us how we are doing!

What Does Customer Service Really Mean?

Many attempts have been made to define customer service. But first and foremost, customer service should be about customers! So here's a definition, from the customer's point of view.

*"Customer Service is a function of how well an organization is able to constantly and consistently exceed the needs of the customer."

Lets break this down further:
  • "Is able to" - it's an ability to, a skill
  • "constantly and consistently" - they're doing it all the time and have proven this ability
  • "exceeds the needs" - more customer happiness than customer satisfaction
  • "the customer" - makes the customer an individual, rather than a group, with his special needs and wants
*Excerpt taken from http://www.customerservicepoint.com/customer-service-definition.html, used with permission.

Rentskis.com would like you to share your comments about Customer Service and what it means to you or if you have had exceptional service at one of our locations we would love to hear from you!
